We have travelled many years around the world, visiting many places, dining in a great variety of restaurants, got coffees, drinks and lunches in lounges and lunch rooms at countless locations. We got there as a customer, and learned to appreciate the different ambiances and set-ups. 

So we decided to create a place in the way we ourselves would very much like to visit, to relax, to chill, and love to return any time we would cherish our moment together as a family, as friends or just alone, to dream away with a cool drink or a coffee, staring over the blue Gulf of Thailand and the other looming islands at the horizon. Watching stunning sunsets that takes your breath away. Creating a place that would become the contrary of a boring standard dining place. Where customers could appreciate any detail, at every corner and the great variety of set up of the seating. A place for families, couples and teenagers, enjoying great food and drinks, even with live music from time to time.

And that is why Cherish Restaurant & Bar was born. Located in the centre of the beautiful Bang Por beach, the most lovely and charming part of Samui Island. Just 15 minutes away from the tourist centres Bangrak, Bophut and Chaweng, and only 20 minutes from the international airport. 

Since the opening in January 2022, we have welcomed thousands of happy customers, that where so charmed and exited visiting our place, and told their friends and family to find the way to Cherish at Bang Por beach as well. We feel very privileged to receive the honour from our returning guests. And welcome any new customer to get the same experience as all our guests before.

Therefore, another meaning of Cherish we sincerely hope that would become yours after visiting us, like Collins Dictionary is saying; “..it was a wonderful experience which we will cherish for many year to come…”
